UBS AG, a financial services firm, provides wealth management, asset management, and investment banking services to private, corporate, and institutional clients worldwide.
Initial distribution of part of the annual dividend on a company's shares. Dividends may be paid quarterly or half-yearly, on the basis of the company's ongoing accounts. Interim dividends are generally low and are kept as even as possible. The balance is paid out in the form of the final dividend.
