Joseph · Carey · Merrick (August 5, 1862 – April 11, 1890) is a British show severely deformed human curiosity of life, known as the elephant man · Merrick began abnormal development during the first several years.
when he was 11, his mother died and his father turned him down. In 1884, he began as the Elefant man in Belgium display, Merrick was abandoned by his road Manager, but he finally made his return to London in Brussels. · Merrick was allowed to stay in the hospital for the remainder of his life in London, and he interviewed rich with all of London society.
