Antoni Gaudí
(1852-1926) Spanish architect and the best-known representative of Catalan Modernism.
He was the first one in use the Trencadís. This is a type of mosaic created from broken tile shards. The technique is also called pique assiette. This mosaic is done thanks to broken pieces of ceramic like tiles and cups.
His masterpiece is the cathedral "Sagrada Familia" in Barcelona. The "Parque Guell" also in Barcelona is really famous too.
